P3B have been busy getting ready for their new topic starting with a planning session showing what we already know and what we would like to find out through our topic. The children came up with some fantastic questions and have shown a big interest in Pirates with some already doing their own research at home.
We have begun our topic learning about famous Pirates, drawing maps, learning grid references and learning about the different parts of a Pirate ship. We have even been learning how to talk like a pirate. It has been such a fun start to our topic.
