We are proud to share that all of our staff have completed professional development in the Thinking Matters approach, a research-informed whole-school framework that puts metacognition and the explicit teaching of thinking at the heart of learning. Developed from cognitive science and classroom practice, Thinking Matters equips educators with practical tools, shared language and strategies to help students become reflective, independent, and self-regulated learners who can think critically and creatively across all areas of the curriculum. This training supports a consistent, whole-school culture where thinking skills are nurtured daily, helping our learners to deepen their understanding, improve attainment and prepare confidently for future challenges.
