Today we had our wonderful annual Nursery Caterpillars Picnic at Creggan Park 🐛🧺🌳
The children were so excited as we continued exploring our favourite story, talking about and sequencing all the different foods the caterpillar ate throughout the week 📚🍎🍐🍓.
This morning, everyone helped prepare our delicious picnic foods before heading off to the park, which made the adventure even more special ✨ Thankfully, the weather stayed dry for us too ☀️🌤️.
Our picnic was full of tasty treats including pickles, cheese, salami, chocolate cake, cupcakes, watermelon, apples, oranges, pears, plums, strawberries and so much more 🍉🧁🍊🍓🧀. The children absolutely loved it!
It was lovely to see some of the children trying new foods and excitedly saying they were going to ask their parents to buy them at home 😊👏
We had such a fantastic morning in the park enjoying beautiful food, sharing stories, laughing together and making special memories as the children begin to approach the end of their nursery year ❤️
