Mrs Mc Monagle’s P1 children had great fun exploring Humpty Dumpty this week at school. 🥚 They recited the rhyme brilliantly and worked hard as a team to build a wall for Humpty to sit on. Unfortunately, the next day, an emergency situation unfolded when they discovered that their Humpty Dumptys had fallen off the wall and were all broken! The children all came to the rescue carefully fixing Humpty back together again. 🩹 They suggested different ways to solve the problem and they then tried to find ways to protect Humpty by wrapping him in different materials. All the children then took a real egg home to see what would happen when they heated it. What great chefs we have at Holy Child! 🍳
