This week in Nursery, we explored the story of The Gingerbread Man through a range of engaging and playful learning experiences. The children designed and built boats and bridges to help the Gingerbread Men cross the river 🌉, showing fantastic creativity and problem-solving skills.
They also produced wonderful Gingerbread Man–themed art and crafts 🎨 and even baked their own Gingerbread Men. However, when we went to check the oven… they had escaped! 😲 Our video revealed these mischievous Gingerbread Men having fun around our classroom.
The children set off on an exciting hunt to find them, asking staff along the way and developing great language skills 🗣️. Eventually, we discovered them hiding in the Gingerbread Man house in the assembly hall 🏠.
It has been a week full of fun, learning, language, and maths—all wrapped up in a magical Gingerbread Man adventure ⭐.
