Our Eco warriors were hard at work today. They were busy in the canteen promoting the importance of eating vegetables. They chatted to the children and encouraged them to have a go at trying the vegetables being served at the canteen. The canteen staff have been featuring sweetcorn this week offering the children hot corn in the cob and sweetcorn in the salad bar. It has been a big hit!
In the afternoon the eco warriors steamed some baby sweetcorn in the staffroom, chopped it and prepared it for sampling. They then visited the classrooms to encourage everyone to take part in a taste test!
