☀️ Outdoor Numeracy in P3B ☀️

24th Apr 2026

Our class recently enjoyed a wonderful session of outdoor learning, bringing numeracy to life in the fresh air!

The children took part in a range of fun and interactive activities, including subtraction work with exchanging, exploring odd and even numbers, and practising counting forwards and backwards. Working collaboratively, they supported one another and built confidence in their numeracy skills through hands-on learning.

Using chalk, the children then had the opportunity to get creative and design their own numeracy games. It was fantastic to see their imagination, teamwork, and understanding of mathematical concepts come together in such an engaging way.

Outdoor learning continues to be a valuable and enjoyable experience, helping to make learning active, meaningful, and fun for all!
