Our Primary 6 pupils recently attended the YES Project (Youth Educated in Safety), taking part in a series of informative and engaging learning sessions focused on personal and community safety.
Throughout the day, the children had the opportunity to hear from a range of emergency service professionals and community representatives. They explored important topics such as road safety, fire safety, online safety, and making positive choices. The interactive workshops encouraged pupils to ask questions, take part in discussions and think carefully about how to keep themselves and others safe.
The YES Project provides valuable real-life learning experiences, helping our pupils to develop confidence, responsibility and awareness as they prepare for the transition to post-primary school.
We are very proud of the maturity and excellent behaviour shown by our Primary 6 class throughout the event.
