‘World Around Us Wednesday’ was such a fun-filled day for P4A!🐞 We had a busy carousel going on to help us investigate our new topic “It’s a Bug’s Life”.🪲 Using a cross- curricular approach, we observed, listened, asked questions, explored and drew pictures to communicate all our ideas and understanding.🦋 In Literacy, we did some proof reading and editing which will help us to become better writers.🐌 In Maths, we collected and recorded data about our favourite mini-beasts using tally charts and bar graphs.🕷 We really enjoyed using our “thinking frames” to communicate our knowledge of adjectives as we described a variety of bugs.🐝 Our colourful, informative topic books from the Creggan library also gave us a great insight into the world of mini-beasts! 🐛We are really excited and looking forward to digging deeper into our new topic to discover lots of fun facts about the large variety of insects and arachnids in the big world around us! 🪰
