World Around Us Wednesday - P5A 🌍
Primary 5A had a fantastic World Around Us Wednesday as they explored the fascinating topic of the Ancient Egyptians!
The pupils took part in a range of engaging, cross-curricular activities. They used hieroglyphics to solve place value questions, combining their numeracy skills with historical learning. In literacy, they got creative by using bossy verbs to write commands fit for a Pharaoh!
The class also investigated the story of Moses, using a sequencing thinking frame to help organise and retell the events clearly. To finish off their learning, pupils designed and created their own hieroglyphic name bookmarks, showcasing both their creativity and understanding of Egyptian writing.
Well done to everyone in P5A for their enthusiasm and excellent work
