As part of our It’s a Bug’s Life topic, we’ve been exploring symmetry using Amaziograph to design beautiful butterflies. We also used sequencing frames to carefully draw and understand the life cycle of a butterfly.
The children have been learning about how to care for minibeasts too — we did some planting to help support our local bees 🌼🐝 and created detailed drawings of different habitats where minibeasts live.
To top it all off, we made the most of the lovely sunshine while learning outdoors. A fantastic mix of creativity, nature, and fun!
