Primary 6 have been learning how to find 10% of a number using the Power of 10 card. The card helps them remember that dividing by 10 makes a number ten times smaller. By sliding the digits one place to the right, pupils can quickly and confidently work out 10% of any amount. They practised using the card with lots of different numbers and enjoyed seeing how fast and easy it makes percentage calculations.
