P5B have been busy applying their maths skills to real-life situations! Using leaflets from our local shop, the children created shopping lists and worked out the total cost of their items. They practised adding money amounts carefully and checked their calculations as they went. 🛒🍌🍫🍪
Working with learning partners, pupils discussed different strategies and helped each other find accurate totals. It was a fun and practical way to see how maths is used in everyday life, and the class showed great teamwork and problem-solving skills.
