P6 Bake Scones and Churn Butter

This week in our How Is It Made? topic, we explored how everyday foods are created. We learned about the processes behind some of our favourite foods, from the ingredients used to the steps needed to transform them into something delicious. To put our learning into action, we baked our very own scones, carefully measuring, mixing and shaping the dough before watching it rise in the oven. We also churned our own butter, just like people did in the past. It was exciting to see simple ingredients turn into real food we could taste, and it helped us understand how much effort and science goes into making the things we eat!
