Our Primary 5A pupils had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day by coming to school dressed in their cosy pyjamas, ready to enjoy a day full of stories and reading fun.
We also teamed up with P3A in Mrs Baxter’s and Mrs Whoriskey’s class for some lovely peer reading. The Primary 5 pupils showed fantastic kindness and leadership as they helped their younger buddies read stories, sound out tricky words and share their love of books.
It was lovely to see the smiles, teamwork and excitement for reading across the classrooms. A brilliant way to celebrate the joy of books together! 📖💙
