We welcomed our P3 parents back for the third Paired Reading session where our teachers demonstrated a range of helpful word attack skills. These included strategies such as sounding out unfamiliar words and breaking words into smaller parts. Parents then had the opportunity to practise these techniques alongside their children during reading time.
The atmosphere in the classroom was warm, engaging, and full of enthusiasm. The children were so proud to read with their parents, and it was fantastic to see their confidence growing.
