We’ve been buzzing with excitement in Nursery as we explore our brand new topic: Mini-Beasts and Life Cycles!
We’ve been learning all about different mini-beasts and discovering some amazing facts. One of the most exciting parts has been watching the life cycle of a frog! We had real frogspawn in our classroom and got to see it grow into tadpoles, then froglets, and finally into a little frog called Froggy! 🐸 Today, we said a fond farewell to Froggy as he went back to his home in a local pond. We loved watching him grow!
Next, we’re getting ready to welcome our caterpillars! 🐛 We can’t wait to watch them transform into beautiful butterflies and learn all about their magical life cycle.
We’ve also been busy learning about other amazing creatures like spiders, beetles, ladybirds, worms, and bees! 🕷️🐞🐝
There’s so much to discover, and we’ve been having lots of fun making and creating our own mini-beasts using different materials.
We even went on an exciting mini-beast hunt around our school to see what we could find in the wild! Magnifying glasses in hand, we explored like real scientists!
We are absolutely loving this topic and can’t wait to keep exploring the wonderful world of mini-beasts!
