As part of Maths Week, our primary 7 children worked in pairs to use the internet to compare prices at Sainsbury's, Asda and Tesco. They searched for everyday items like milk, bread, and fruit to find out which supermarket offered the best value. By calculating unit prices and recording their results, the children used real-life maths skills in a fun and practical way. This activity helped them develop teamwork, online research, and careful money sense- showing how maths is useful in everyday life.
