This week, our P5 pupils have been busy developing their procedure writing skills in a fun and festive way!
First, the children worked with their learning partners to magpie ideas and identify the key features of a procedure, such as ordering steps, using bossy verbs and including clear instructions ✅📝
Then it was time for some independent writing! The children wrote their own imaginative procedures inspired by The Grinch and his plan to steal Christmas 🎁
They absolutely loved stepping into the shoes of the Grinch and thinking like a villain! 🧦💚 The excitement and creativity in the classroom was wonderful to see, and everyone was so enthusiastic about sharing their ideas and reading their work aloud 🌟📖
