Today in Holy Child Nursery Unit, we held our very first extended day to support our pupils as they prepare for the longer Primary 1 school day. 🎒✨
The children took part in an exciting football session with Noel from the Football Fun Factory, and they absolutely loved it. There was a real buzz of energy, enthusiasm, and smiles all around. ⚽😊
Afterwards, they returned to the classroom to take part in a range of tabletop activities. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed these, and it provided a valuable opportunity to practise sitting at tables and engaging in focused tasks. 🧩✏️
These experiences are an important step in helping to prepare them for the routines and learning that will come in September as they move on to Primary 1. 🌟
