This week, P5B have been learning all about symmetry — and we used the amazing app Amaziograph 🎨 on the iPads to help us explore it in a fun and creative way!
The children experimented with different types of lines of symmetry in shapes and images, discovering how repeating patterns and reflections can create beautiful, balanced designs. Using our space theme as inspiration 🌌, they produced some out-of-this-world symmetrical art pieces — featuring rockets 🚀, planets 🪐, stars ✨ and more!
Everyone worked so creatively and showed great focus while exploring how maths and art connect in exciting ways.
