Following our fantastic Coding day with Mrs Nelson P3B couldn’t wait to get started using Scratch Jr in our ICT lessons. Already within 3 weeks we have learnt all about the different types of blocks and have explored using them to create different projects. We have written our own algorithms to create a ‘Pop the chicken’ and ‘Moving Cars’ projects which involves moving sprites at different speeds and directions. The confidence the children have gained within a short space of time is incredible. We can’t wait to keep learning more.
