This week in Primary 5, we have been busy revising 3D shapes through lots of fun, practical activities! The children explored a range of 3D shapes and discussed their properties. Working with learning partners, they recorded their findings.
We also worked on matching 3D shapes to their nets and designed and made our very own shapes, which was a great way to see how flat shapes come together to form solid objects.
To make learning even more exciting, the class played interactive games and enjoyed a special ‘Guess Who?’-style shape challenge, where they had to guess the shape their partner was holding by asking questions about its properties.
It was wonderful to see so much teamwork, problem-solving and hands-on learning taking place. Well done, Primary 5 — fantastic work this week!
