P6 have been working very hard this week on our May altar in honour of Mary, our Blessed Mother. As a Catholic school, we are very proud to have a May altar in our classroom and the children have shown wonderful creativity and thoughtfulness throughout this activity.
The pupils worked together in their table groups to draw beautiful pictures of Mary and used a defining frame to help them understand the loving and caring personality of our Mother Mary.
To finish, each pupil wrote their own special prayer to Mother Mary. 🙏💙
We cannot wait to see our May altar fully completed!
