Over the past few weeks, our nursery boys and girls have been busy exploring the wonders of autumn — with a special focus on mathematics this week! 🔢✨
As part of Maths Week, the children enjoyed a wide range of hands-on activities: counting chestnuts and acorns 🌰, sorting colourful autumn leaves 🍂, spotting shapes in the environment 🔺, and weighing vegetables and other natural items ⚖️. They explored the concepts of heavy and light and compared who was taller or smaller among their friends 👧🧒.
It has been a fantastic week of curiosity, problem-solving, and learning through play — all inspired by the beauty of autumn! 🍂💛
