Holy Child Primary School, Derry

Year 7

Welcome to P7

Class P7 A is taught by Mr D O'Donnell and classroom assistants Gary and Joanne.

Class P7 B is taught by Mr B O ' Donnell and classroom assistants Rebecca and Liam.

This is the pupils last year in Holy Child NPS. The pupils will experience many trips to other schools such as St Joseph's college, St Mary's college , St Cecilia's college and Ebrington PS throughout the year.

We have lots of trips planned. We will be visiting the Water bus from Water N I. We will be going to Sean Dolan's for Dads and Lads day.

  • Our WAU work and PDMU work will involve a lot of topics on transitioning to secondary level education and strategies for coping with our mental health and making the right choices. This will enable us to become good citizens when we are adults.

Our work in the afternoons in school gives us the ability and skills to work as part of a team as well as building our resilience  and self esteem. In December we will be learning an important life skill of swimming in our local swimming pool at William street.

Our motto as always is : Every Child Every Chance Every Day.
