There is a brief talk in the school hall this Wednesday January 17th at 2.40pm for all our P4 parents. This is to introduce our PIN programme (parents in numeracy). This programme will run for 6 weeks. Any parent who cannot come along to the meeting due to work commitments, please contact the school so that we can ensure your child can also participate.

Many thanks too to all our P4 children and parents for continuing to prepare for the Sacraments of Penance and Eucharist this year by attending our Do This in Memory of Me masses, the most recent being Sunday January 14th.

Could we remind all our parents to visit the website regularly. We work hard to make sure it is up to date...especially the calendar section!

Snow is forecast for Tuesday this week which will inevitably lead us into the will they/won't they be open debate. I will keep in regular contact via the text messaging service so please ensure we have up to date numbers. I will also post decisions on the website. Please remember too that there is an app for the website and the link can be found on the home page. We endeavour to stay open and the decision to close will always be based on ensuring the health and safety of the pupils and staff.

Finally, can I also remind parents that the canteen menu is available under the parents section. Some children eat very little on certain days so being able to access the menu may help you decide as to whether they should bring lunch or have canteen dinner.

 Until next week.....
