Ness Woods park rangers visit P1/2

17th Dec 2017

On Friday the P1 and 2 children had a visit from two park rangers who work for DAERA (Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs). Since the children have been learning about the woodlands in their topics, we thought they could learn so much more from these two experts Seamus and John. The children saw real woodland animals(taxidermy)and learned so many more facts about plants and animals in the woods. We hope this taught our children how to respect and care for their environment. They got a surprise visit from Archie the Bear at the end of the session which they enjoyed.
